ABOUT IRON WOLF ATHLETICS
Our goal at Iron Wolf Athletics is to develop excellent athletes by promoting precise, efficient and safe movement through proper technique and training practices.

Our programming focuses on learning and developing the fundamentals of sport to high degree of proficiency. We utilize the variations of the Snatch, Clean, and Jerk as well as squats, dead lifts and plyometric movements to develop speed, strength, power, coordination, accuracy and precision. We believe that incorporating Olympic Weightlifting into traditional sports training provides incredible benefits for all sports and is an excellent addition to any sport training program.
COAT OF ARMS
The symbol that represents our team is a variation of Coach Ryan's family crest. This symbol was chosen because it contains several elements that have specific meanings that we believe should influence the way we live and train.

The elements contained in the coat of arms are:
The escutcheon, or shield, that makes up the base of the coat of arms. It is the color argent, representing peace and sincerity.
The secondary color is vert, representing hope, joy, and loyalty in love.
The chevron is a symbol of protection.
The wolf represents the rewards of perseverance.

MOTTO
Vis Unita Fortior
Our team's motto also comes from the history of Coach Ryan's family. The motto roughly translates to "Strength united is stronger."

We believe that, together, as a team, we are stronger than we ever could be on our own. We trust in each other, encourage each other, and believe in each other. This united strength allows us to push past our limits and reach new levels of achievement, not just in sport, but in life.
